Rejoice in the Lord.
The room is dark, the sounds of the fan swirling the sounds of a tongue licking whatever Cooper licks. The day in and day out of monotonous routine can often be exhausting. Never giving the praise God desires, never taking the time to be thankful for the little things we have. Ecclesiastes 3:4 “A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;” 2 Samuel 6:14 “And David danced before the Lord with all his might. And David was wearing a linen ephod.” We don’t take into account the wonderful things we’ve been given.
Yes absolutely can life be one giant train wreck after another? Can life just suck and we not give thanks for it? NO! We must thank God for the good and the bad. We must not fall victim to blaming God for our woes or sorrows. God wants us to dance; God wants us to celebrate our lives. Rejoice in love and the look to the skies. It’s in the expanse of the heavens we realize how little we are. We may be small, but we are important to the Big Guy upstairs. The sky has near infinite stars, and thus our lives can be changed at a time of deep crisis because that’s when change needs to happen most. We can’t always know what our path is, but we try our hardest to walk with God. Psalm 150:1-6 “Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! …” Always love God and Gods path will in time be illuminated for you. John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” We must learn to take the pleasures with the pain. We must learn to rise above and reach for God in our time of need. Never fret for tomorrows new. Dance for the lord under the stars. Romans 5:3 “More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,” Without trials and suffering, we never know our true potential.
If you find yourself outside looking in the middle of the night, embrace the night, embrace the beauty of it, enjoy the game. Gods plan isn’t always the easiest, but no matter the plan we will always have something to dance about.
