Living for Christ

Loving for Christ

Giving for Christ

Dying for Christ

The world is a cruel and dangerous place. The nights can be cold, the days can be hot. With each passing breath we can only guess our future. With a set number of breaths, a set number of days, a set number of sunsets, we can only come to one honest Truth….. We have no idea what our future holds. If we live for Christ then at the very least when we get beat down we know that our bodies may break, but Christ will call us home to be reborn in perfection. Live like tomorrow may not come and to live in Christ now is to truly live later. Loving Christ is easy for some, hard for others. What makes Loving Christ so hard? As a father loves their kids, sometimes you must let them fall. Sometimes you can’t always prevent the bad things from happening. That doesn’t mean your father doesn’t love you. Sometimes tough love is needed to get the lesson to sink in. God is no different with us. When we blatantly walk against Gods wishes we are bound to have our own troubles. Matthew 6:33 – “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” We must give love to everyone. We must give our love to Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:15 – “And [that] he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.” We were given the greatest gift we could ever hope for but never deserve, forgiveness. We were given eternal salvation if we only give our hearts to the Lord. 1 Peter 3:7 “Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.” We must give our hearts and love to our wives, our husbands. “Ephesians 5:23-26 “For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,” As men we are supposed to lead by example. We are supposed to love and cherish our wives such as Christ loved and cherished us. The catch, Christ died for us. Are we willing to die for our loved one? To love Christ one must be willing to love and cherish the word. To love Christ is to be a potential target to those who hate what Christianity stands for. As most of the Apostils died for what they believed in, they never gave up on that faith. 1 Peter 4:11 “If any man speak, [let him speak] as the oracles of God; if any man minister, [let him do it] as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” If we die, die for Christ so that way you may live. For those who love James 4:14 “Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.” With the little time we have do not live to die. Live to live forever in heaven.
