Resurrecting the Dead
Ecclesiastes 12:7 “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.” From the dust we are made, so shall we return. We are walking dead if we are not with Christ. As our bodies grow old, grow weak, we will all succumb to time, but what of our spirit? If we do not know and follow Christ we are walking dead. Our spirits will never find home, they will never ascend to Heaven. Our souls will enter hell if we are not saved by the light. Romans 14:8 “For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.” The opposite is also true. We must not sit by and watch as people walk through Christ without the Lord. We have a place in this world to spread the Gospel to expose the word to non believers. Ezekiel 3:18 “When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.” We see this again in John 8:24 “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.” Not everyone will understand our concepts. Not everyone will believe in the Lord. You will be asked many questions in the pursuit of ministry and missions, do not let this sway or deter you. All your answers can be found in the bible. Pray and ask God for guidance. Find a way out of your comfort zone and give up your life to the Lord. As the fall shows how plants and trees appear dead, spring brings new life. The trees blossom again and the world looks more vibrant. When we expose the words of God to others, we have the chance to watch them bloom and accept Christ.
